If we sign him as Manageer you can guarantee we'll draw his old team in Cl Qualifiers.

I'm well aware but being an assistant manager is hardly the experience we crave is it? It is nothing to shout about.

He wasn't the mastermind behind any of the wins or the team tactics in Europe was he?

You are over-glorifying his role as assistant manager.

AVB and Brendan Rodgers are 2 massive examples of coaches, learning under Mourinho and becoming successful managers.

I would like the new manager to know a bit about our game since most teams will shut up shop playing us week in and week out. If he is the new manager I hope he hits the ground running because if we miss out on the champions league I would dread to think what budget will be.

Really? did not look like that to me at all, knowing Scottish football served two of the last 3 managers very well in Europe. So I would say it means something to be fair.

Clarke isn't AVB or Brendan Rodgers though is he, lets not kid ourselves on?

Until Clarke gets some real experience as a manager, he will always fall second to someone like Dalia, who has had far more tangible managerial experience.

Fact is if it weren't for Clarke being Mourinhos assistant, we wouldn't even be considering him or glorifying his role.

Wim had managed big teams (at the time) in Belguim and Holland, and had an outstanding playing pedigree.

That is the main factor I think but also a personality issue as well - some are just so reluctant to take any risks, think outside the box, be a bit creative. Boring and bland sums them up.
