What if Keane just couldn't be arsed?

He has a cushy little set up just now as MON's asistant, working very rarely and his little high earning gig at ITV must be good for him and his ego, so he can spout his 'no nonsense' opinion.

He is on £500k approx at the ROI job and will be paid thousands per match at ITV for 9 months of effectively part time work. It's a good set-up as you say

I guess you would know. After more than 5000 posts I guess this is you where you spend most of your days. And judging by your past couple of posts not really contributing much either in this forum or I suspect in life in general :smiley-laughing002:

Many of us on here would, and have repeatedly said so.

Are people still using the "you have no life" troll are they? Thought it died out in the early noughties?

Is retro trolling a thing? When can we expect someone to call you a "noob."

    This is exciting!

I definitely would prefer Clarke to Keane simply because I think Keane would have been a disaster. I think Clarke would actually be a good candidate for the job and could be a success. If we are continuing our current system then it's more of a head coach we are looking for and Clarke has lots of experience at big clubs coaching.

Clarke, Zola and John Kennedy would be more then happy with that management team at our club

Has Keane taken himself out of the running because he knows the majority of the fans don't want him? All he would need to do is come on talk Celtic for 5 mins and he'd realise how unwanted he is. If he did turn us down because of that, then i have just gained a little bit of respect for him

However, if he genuinely just doesn't want to manage us......I will hate him more:56:

Yep. I think people have just blown it well out of proportion - as will the media.

Mate, its a football forum - everyone gets ribbed. Take a joke, calm down and enjoy the banter.

Half of us are young guys who have just knocked off college/uni/work and have nothing better to do during the day, other than frequent a football forum periodically between our wanks. I'm currently sitting in my boxers eating a dry bowl of sugar puffs, waiting for my girlfriend to come over in the hope I might get my jam roll.

The forum gives us a superficial sense of importance with regards to our opinion. Do you think my boss gives a * about why Celtic should be looking into mainland Europe for a young up and coming manager? Where else can I talk about these things?

Nobody even mentioned Garcia until he started moving * paper cups in front of a daily mail reporter.

Now not signing him reveals a lack of ambition :smiley-laughing002:

I would like him to be given a crack to be fair but not doing so might just not be the end of Celtic as we know it.

Was that directed at me? I clearly touched a nerve eh princess. Just fix your tiara and take a deep breath.

Now once you've finished 'trying' to second guess my personal life, can we get back to discussing football matters without the melodrama?

But it was the way moved those cups.

The name that's united the fans is Coyle - we are united against him getting the job.

Well said. I live in Manchester. No one down here could give a flying * about Celtic. They are all, almost without exception, ignorant. A few people, genuinely, got angry at what Celtic did to their city at the Uefa cup final. Don't worry, I set them straight.

Forums like this are one of the only ways for me to remain connected.
