If we end up with Steve Clarke, and not Owen Coyle then I'll be more than happy with that.

Clarke would be a much better choice than Keane in my opinion.

Sitting with Chiles, Dixon, Southgate and co must be miles better then winning trophies and making a good managerial career for yourself at Celtic ey Roy similar to Owen Coyle when he turned it down his chance has gone he won't get another

Where did he say he was taking a pay cut for no one? The rumour mill?

Reading between the lines it looks as if he's done what he would have done had he got the job and spat his dummy out because he hasn't been appointed quick enough for his liking.

Just when I was getting used to the idea of Keane, it gets blown out the water. Can't say I'm disappointed, but I am now a bit fearful of who we will end up with. Yes, Steve Clarke did well in his first season at West Brom, but his second season was a * disaster. He seems to have done his best work as a number 2. Having said that, if we don;t go for Laudrup/Wieghorst or Garcia, he is probably as good an option as we are considering - definitely streets ahead of Coyle. As for Moyes, I just think his time at Man U raises too many warning flags about his weaknesses, and I suspect he wouldn't take it anyway.

Mate it's clear he was told he would have to slash his budget and that his best players were to be sold under him. He was also offered really * terms and that PL just laughed in his face when he demanded more support which proves THERE ARE BAD TIMES AHEAD AND WOE IS ME IT'S A FCKIN DISGRACE I TELLS YA !!!!!

More chance of Katie Price holding down a steady marriage then Coyle getting the Celtic job

It's an opinion, of course, but it won't be long before we see if he's correct. The level of manager appointed and our dealings in the transfer market will show that.

Personally I don't see the club telling any new managerial candidate that we're looking to sell, that they'll get zero budget and * wages. Usually you'd imagine the club would be looking to paint the job in a positive light.
