Manager must have some say in it. I doubt any manager would leave all their signings to others at the club.

A dyed in the wool Sevco fan on my Facebook who is actually quite nice about Celtic and harsh about fat Sally, just said this, I kind of agree:

Don't get me wrong, he is deluded if he is hinting at what I think he is......

we have been to the group stages of the cl for two years in a row and to the last 16 in one of those years so we are generating money in the cl.

This. At least he's had success at one club.

Who says Keane was behind all those signings. Just like we were unsure who was signing players when Lennon was incharge

I've never felt any passion emanating from Coyle or Moyes. I'm not going to get into Moyes' flaws again but he doesn't have the fire that Keane has. It's something Fergie and Lennon had and it is essential when managing big personalities. Keane perhaps takes it too far and takes things a bit too personal. Where as Fergie and Lennon knew where the line was and how to differentiate between the job and life.

Don't get me wrong, I still don't want Keane, he is very near the bottom of my list of potential candidates. It goes: Keane>Moyes>Coyle

Can't believe some of you would rather Keane to Moyes. Each to their own though.

    Hahahaha

Keane's got Sunderland promoted and kept them up, his win percentage with them was 42% which isn't bad at all at a club like Sunderland.

Well fat Peter still acts as if those funds aren't there. If having Roy means potentially pish transfer choices, but choices Lawwell will affect minimally or not at all(because Roy Keane tells him to keep his hands away), then Roy has my full backing. GIRU Lawwell.

Hoping it is either Mackay or Laudrup. Keane is a pish manager, no thanks.

    Fair enough mate..

moyes is in around the top for me, big experience with big clubs and always in the top 8 in england, is no easy feat and despite his poor year, he still commands respect..

coyle and keane are my bottom two, in that order..
