We will find out about Keane soon enough, I'm sure SSN said he was doing a press conference in a couple of hours.

If it's not Keane it will be Coyle, and probably confirmed tomorrow.

There's about a 90% chance we'll be disappointed with the announcement. Hard pill to swallow considering most of the names thrown about the day Lennon left were very exciting.

I prefer the South Park "giant douche" or a "* sandwich" analogy

I think Keane would love being the most hated man in Scotland outside of Paradise and would GIRU every last one of them, and more meltdown in zombieland about another taig, lifting yet another title.

I'd imagine it's been narrowed down to 3 contenders. In this order
    Keane
    Coyle
    McKay

We will find out with Keane tonight (probably) - McKay I don't think wants the job otherwise he'd have it by now.

Keane would be a horrible appointment imo. He'd fall out with the team and just be a complete c*nt. Hoping for Coyle.

we play a possession based passing football quite continental in actual fact, we could get better at that!
i personally like the pass the football to death style myself!!! move teams about alot be patient and create the space and score

In continental Europe the play is almost entirely possession based passing on the deck football or also called called indirect football!

And It does matter where the manager is from!!! continental possession based football is quite alien to british coaches who are and have been brought up on DIRECT FOOTBALL.
It has got better in recent years with the explosion of the EPL on sky that has provided the money for top european and world talent and managers to play the way they are used to playing i.e. proper footballthe game is much more chess like these days and needs patient passing and moving to create space for an attack at goal its not like the old days where teams could use their physical strength to bully teams physically as all teams have big strong athletic players the teams of today need to be more crafty and clever and move their opppenents about to create the space and score :50:

It seems so, Moyes and McKay would have the job if they wanted it.

McNamara etc would have came out in the press and said so...like Coyle.

Larsson has probably turned it down.

Did Keane not already give his view on ITV ? Didn't see it but thought I read somewhere he said he already has two jobs and doesn't want another one, then made a joke about paycuts ???

Oscar Garcia is the obvious choice AND he wants the job. I can't believe we'd go for Keane over Garcia. Shows how gullible Lawwell thinks we are. Because Keane is a big name and a supposed Celtic supporter, he thinks that's enough and that we'll buy into that.
