Who Will Be Our Next Manager?

A also watched a lot of Swansea games under Laudrup and some of the football on show was great to watch.

 

I agree. Inherited team or not it's a big achievement to do well in Europe and League as well as winning a cup and signing quality players such as Michu for just over £2m!

 

They show highlights on MOTD and i was thinking more about Europe, i have no doubt Laudrup would be good enough to win the title and probably a cup or two in scotland but i feel he would be a little short on Europe.....but admit he would be a better choice than most mentioned.

He's had loads of European experience both as player and manager unlike a lot of other names in the mix. Think he would be tailor made for Europe. So far this is the only name being mentioned that has got me excited.

 

If Coyle's arrival really is imminent, I guess I'd better get used to seeing the phrase "database error" an awful lot over the next few days.

 

Yup they did but got beat at home to same team, i agree at times they wer great to watch.....but imo Rodgers played better football than Laudrups side with essentially the same if not worse squad of players.

 

I watched Swansea every game they were on sky and I just always thought. I would absolute love Celtic to play football like this.

 

It won't be Laudrup,for that we need a board willing to look outside the box of cheap and cheerful.

 

Laudrup would be far more like it, hope that's true.

 

I would imagine he would be on big bucks at Swansea? Michu is on £25k a week at them so they are obviously paying around what we pay.

 

They got worse the longer he was there, their football got worse the longer he was there...he hasnt exactly had a sparkling managerial career but his worse swansea team played better football than Lennons best celtic team i admit that....but i think that was due to the philosophy of the club and the players he inherited more than to Laudrups managerial prowess.

 

Yeah Swansea looked really off the pace last season I thought. However the season before that they were phenomenal, the football they played at times was breathtaking.

Would love him here.

But like I've been saying since Friday, it will be Owen hoofball Coyle.

 

He was on like £11k a week at Swansea - less than Fat Sally!

If he earned Lennons wage he would we getting an upgrade, certainly more than Grenada could offer.

 

I have nothing against Laudrup coming in, however i just feel that, given his managerial career so far, it would end in tears and this time next year we would be in the same position we are in now.

 

Michael Laudrup would be a cracking appointment, please make this happen.
