    I've only ever had 1 hero and that was Henrik
    There's not been any icons since. Had favourite players like petrov and commons but they aren't heroes/legends

    Shame because we have always had icons from mcgrory and Quinn to tully and Johnstone. Dalglish and mcgrain to mcstay and burns. Di canio and Pierre to lubo and Larsson. Now we don't have anyone that is particularly outstanding, closest thing to a hero would have been paddy McCourt if he played more and scored more of those crazy goals

    First one was probably Andy Thom, mind always liking him when I was 4/5 although I probably didnt really know anything about him at the time as I was too young to know anything. Other favourite was probably Petrov years later when I would have been 11/12/13/14,

    I think it was just his song I knew and that he was one of our better goalscorers at the time. I also had the set of the wee corinithian figure things of that squad, McStay, Pierre etc that I used to make a pitch and make goals out of videos and a subbuteo ball where id play games of Celtic V Man U as I had their squad as well and used to always make Thom score the goals :52:

    He was the first player I knew and liked.

    John Collins followed by Larsson

    I feel sorry for Collins as he was head and shoulders above most at his time and was for most of his time part of poor Celtic teams. Imagine him alongside the Lubos and Suttons etc.....

    I held no grudge when he left us as he stayed probably longer than anyone else with his talent would have.
