Who thinks Samaras should go ??!

i would punt this guy in a heart beat.

Agreed if a goal came off 25% of his play he would be on same amount of goals as boyd this year he misses so many sitters especially when really need a goal. Also he breaks up so many fast breaks in play by driving back o the half way line? or trying to dribble and having the ball taken off him!

samaras is just hot and cold i think a couple of weeks on the bench may get him bk 2 playing better well i hope it would any way

 

Samaras is still young plenty time to develop parts of his game that needs worked on, I'm not saying he's great - but there's no doubt in my mind he has the potential to be.

 

the guy is a waster i have tried to like this guy so many times and he keeps failing me, last season i said on here we should keep him untii jan and now, i have had enough of him.its a BIG cheerio for me

so he must have had at least 240 good chances a better striker

Yes he isnt tough enough, but his mobility is his best attribute

 

Samaras is a good player and when hes flying hes a treat to watch sure he lacks composure people forget how young he is he's only a year older than aiden(who the same charge is levelled at also!) at 24 but to suggest a lack of mobility suggests to me a lack of knowledge of the game and at the very least a lack of eyeballs in your * skull!!

 

Not a chance for me, I think that he is a very valuable team member although I'd question wether he and Fortune should play together

are you kidding me, apart from the fact he does lack conviction and a final ball every now and again the man trys his heart out and i believe loves the club, hes the one thats always in the paper sayin about the team spirt. Hes the first on to come to the fans at away games. if he his his top form he would be impossible to stop in this league! yes the last few games he has not been at his very best but there have been glimsis of magic from him. finaly yeh sell him and that leaves us with two real first team strickers and mcdonalds not even fit!!!! Lets get behind the whole team and with time they will turn this mess all around!!

 

Another thing I'll say about Samaras, he's the only one in the team who looks for the ball constantly. I saw about 3-5 throw ins against Hibs where Samaras had to come from quite a distane just to be a target for the thrower becuase nobody else was intrested.

Samaras is young, parts of his game which need developed can still be developed - that's a fact. Samaras loves playing for the club and loves the fans, he's one of few who has real desire to win and one of few who constantly want to get involved.

Get behind Sammy, he'll do the business. His game will develop as he matures as a player - there's no doubt he has huge potential in my opinion.

Thinking i read a few weeks back that Sammi was doing the business ,how times change quickly in football.

 

The guy IMO is a mix between Henrik Larsson (For his movement) and Tony Cascarino (INability to score goals)

 

A good striker is there for the chances , the goals will come.

 

This post says more about you than it does anything else, and would disgrace the name of Celtic 'supporters' if it could ever be claimed that you are one. These types of comments are definitely not "the Celtic way".

With regards to what was happening on the pitch, and the complaints of how deep Samaras comes infield with the ball, this seems to happening more often lately, and from what I can see it has been down to the fact that our central midfield of Crosas and Zhi haven't pushed forward to offer an out ball to Samaras. More than once lately has Samaras had to gesticulate while running with the ball indicating a lack of any movement from midfield. Notice how when Ki came on Samaras was found much further up the park? In short, there has been a huge gap between the central midfield and forward line in recent times, hopefully this will be eradicated with the inclusion of Ki in future weeks. Slightly more alarming was the lack of chances once Samaras had left the park, we seem to create a lot more with him in the team.

For me, we're a better team with him in it, and certainly create more chances than when he's not.
