If we play Loovens its like giving the other team a goal headstart

 

he's only a boy and has impressed me a lot when he's had the oppertunity

Rogne then Hooiveld then any * then Loovens, in that order.

 

Said it all season with loovens or hooiveld only real options as cant rush rogne back, should play 3 centre defenders worked for O'Neil, however the main thing is consistence if we are playing a back four I would go with Hooiveld, just for the fact I thought loovens needed a big commanding centre back but now has it and still looks a big bomb scare.

Agree mate.

Still think people are jumping the gun a little though, he could still be an absolute terrible defender. I'm not saying he is, that's just how little we've seen him play.

At the moment I'm nervous no matter who I see partnering Majstorovic. As you've said Hooiveld and Loovens have let us down (still hopeful about Hooiveld proving a decent signing) but the rest of the CB's haven't had a proper test.

The big man would bring Rogne on a treat.Everytime Rogne has played for Celtic he's played beside a donkey.

Loovens said in one of the papers he was going to shave his head so he would look as tough as big Dan.

 

They will always find someone to hate mate. If it's not Brown, its Samaras, if its not Samaras its Loovens, some of the criticism seem illogical and ill founded to me.

As for Thomas Rogne he may or not be a good defender, but the fact remains is that he seems to be perpetually injured, which is very troublesome for a young player like him.

I think we will have to buy a new centre back in January.

That would be a very bad idea. There is a reason he on loan at a club in the 4th tier of the English Leagues

 

I'll rephrase that.

Aye but in the little time we've seen of him he's only lasted 90 minutes once in a competitive game.

Rogne is unreliable as far as injuries go. I'd send him out on loan to another Scottish team, if he comes back in once piece after playing a good run of games I'd give him a shot, hes a good prospect from what I've seen but hes done nothing to merit a place in the team yet.

As for Misun, again great prospect and I've seen him play quite a bit but some of this was a left-back. See how he does on loan first, and if hes a stand out in the Dundee team he should get a chance.

I'm a fan of Hooiveld. Unfortunalty we've not seen anywhere near his best (he said this himself last week). If he gets a run in the team he'll be a star. Only problem is, both him and Maj play on the left side of a back 2. If neither of them are happy or comfortable playing on the right side of a back two this could be the reason they aren't playing together.


Hooiveld should be first pick if he and Maj can make a partnership. If not, I'd break Misun or Rogne in gently, with cup games or bringing them on when were up.

 

Rogne for me he looked outstanding when he played against huns and is meant to be rated highly by rest of players and coacging staff.although he is injury prone needs to get run in team...............dont think there is much of differance between hoovieled and loovens both are pretty weak...lennon should not have loaned out missun
