After seeing his interview for the BBC after the 2nd leg against Braga, then Hooiveld. No stand-outs though.

No he didn't. He admitted that the defence hasn't been good enough. And give the guy a chance. He's played most games so far in the pre-season etc. How often does Brown get injured??

 

For me at the moment it would have to be Juarez or Ledley.

Captains become Managers

Players that become Managers were often Captain of the club they played for. Should this have any bearing on who our captain should be? For example, can you imagine Scott Brown becoming a manager when his playing days are over?

Yeah i've thought about that, it's probably too early to judge really if someone like Brown could be a manager. What i'm really getting at is that Captains should have some of the skills a Manager has.

 

There is nobody in that team i would give it to, but if i had to pick one it would be hooiveld.

Get a captain signed lenny.

 

If Jos Hooiveld turns out to be a good player and able to hold down his place in the team then I would give it to him. He interviews well and seems like a bit of a character so I see some captaincy potential in him.

In the meantime, there is NOT ONE player in that Celtic team just now that stands out as captain material. I think we need to sign a player who can come in, command some instant respect and take on the role of captain.

I agree, don't see a natural captain, hopefully we'll sign someone worthy of the arm band but will Brown be replaced? Doubt it!!
