We made money in January - FACT. We also went about selling a title winning side at the same time.

We may have went "ooo £7m spent on players" but the board knew fine well that money was being brought back to the club with the sale of other players. You telling me if the board released a statement tomorrow saying they'd spent £7m in Januray that nobody would challenge the fact they actually never spent a penny?

If we go and spend £7m on players, i.e, quality, 1 or 2 while keeping what we had at the time, I don't think we'd be in this mess. What I'm showing to you is the board were obviously not confident enough to spend that sort of money on a manager who was clearly failing at his job, and rightly so.

We may have 'technically spent' more than all but two clubs in the UK, but in terms of actual outgoing and incoming money from transfers in January, we made money, didn't spend a penny. Now, you can argue this all you want, but I wont waste my time replying, it's a fact, the manager was backed, ONLY when he sold players to fund his transfer targets.

This is my 1st season havin a SB (me and the daughter) an even though its not been the best of seasons i've enjoyed every min of it.......i still get the butterflies on matchday and seein the joy on ma kids face when we score a goal is priceless so for me renewing the SB is a no brainer......There is more to football than just winning trophys (A no some will disagree)

I've had a season book for the last few years and to be honest I haven't been down to nearly as many games as I should have been this season due to work and it being a 3-4 hour car journey to the game so I am considering not renewing my ticket not because we are pish but because the only reason I went for the season ticket is so I was gauranteed tickets for Champions League and Rangers games but because there are hardly any fans going to the games these days you can just phone up and get a ticket the day before the games now so if I can't make it to all the games what's the point in renewing. I'll maybe just try to get a ticket for the games I can go to.

 

I was thinking that myself.

 

last season i was going to get a season book but with her falling pregnant that hit the skids! i have been thinking about getting one for next seson tbh? but wether i will just have to see. agree with viper all the way here makes great points.

the board have to do msomething big now! no question about that. but will they?

Would the best most passionate fans in the world leave there stadium half empty each week.

Please (if you have the funds) keep your season ticket on next season, if the board need to be told they have done wrong then hurting the club as a whole by leaving seats empty and hurting it financially isn't the answer.

Don't be willing (at the first sign of no silverware) to turn your back on the club.

No matter what viper says that's what he is doing, if we were to suddenly win the league this season on the last day would he be thinking again * right he would.

Can you see them sitting and watching the fans in uproar the headlines in the papers having no silverware and do nothing.
