Why was Boruc left out? Must be because he would have won it hands down a year ago? Funny how things can change in football

Aye, it was the best keeper outside of Boruc because Forster was getting all sorts of abuse. I thought this was mostly down to the fact that he wasn't Artur and he was the best we've had outside of him in a long, long time.

I like the amount of time I hold off voting in these threads. Now I can swoop in and vote for Forster.

Should take a screenshot of the current Poll and get the Poll restarted to see the immense difference.

I reckon the vote would be a lot different now.

He wasn't. Forster is significantly better. Marshall showed early promise that soon fell away.

Forster is by far the most consistent of them all.

Just the name 'Rab Douglas' sends cold shivers down my spine .. MON's biggest blind spot, an absolute clown.

I cannot believe that Forster is not winning this pole by a mile.

Artur pulled off some magnificent saves, and was a very likeable guy - still have that fondness for him.

But what he didn't have was that key goalkeeping attribute of relentless concentration. When Artur got bored, he could go off the boil not just for five or ten minutes, but for months at a time. That's why, in terms of actual goals conceded - which has to be the main thing surely? - Fraser is miles ahead.

If he can keep up his current standard over time, there'll be no doubt who our best keeper of the modern era was. :50:

Thought I would drag this back up in light of the possible move of Forster....

Think he was criminally underrated at times...
