Forster is the best of a very average bunch.

Broto was vastly under rated and a thought if we signed him permanently he would have been * amazing

This list shows the the poor quality of our goalkeepers apart from Boruc. For me no one on that list was worth a vote.

i think people are only remembering david marshall's good games for us .. he was never a #1 keeper for us, and in his 4 or what years he didnt have a great amount of appearances. Could maybe even add Zaluska into the poll seeing as marshall, hedman, broto and stewart kerr are in it

    Forster

I think people are guilty of selective memory. Marshall was decent but wasnt even a regular starter for the most part. Even more so regarding Broto. I think Douglas would be my second choice but I think Forster is a safer choice.

Could it not have been we jsut signed Boruc and Marshall wasn't willing to wait about? There was no way he was getting no.1 while the Holy Goalie was here. If he stayed here he would have been top back-up to Artur. Plus he was only 21 when he left. Shouldn't have left then.

I remember meeting David Marshall one day coming out of Parkhead, and we spoke for say 5 minutes or that, I said to him, whatever you do dont leave Celtic. The big man was gutted that he couldn't get a game for Celtic. He wasnt saying, he was our best keeper, the guy was just pratted because he sorely wanted to be our No1. This wasnt long before he left us, the man was Celtic daft. Brilliant big Keeper, would take you back in a minute David :50:

I think Marshall is a keeper that got away from us. Anyway, purely for sentimental reasons and the fact he was in the side that stopped the huns getting 10 in a row - Jonathan Gould. :)

    Thats a hard one..

I liked the look of Broto when he was with us but put Forster on the poll because I was too lazy to think about it.

How easy would the poll have been if Artur was on it?
