Who do you want, do you really really want?

Look we have a 62.5% chance of getting an English team, and a 50% chance of getting a Spanish team. That's before accounting for your Bayerns, Dortmunds, Italian teams, etc.
We are more or less guaranteed to get a big "glamour" team, most likely we'll get 2 big teams, looking at pot 2.

My only hope is that we don't get lumped with 3 of them.
Give us at least one team we have a realistic chance of beating home and away.

 

Pot 2 is disgusting. Genuinely filthy.

 

Good player. If we can get him in alongside Riquelme before the window shuts we'll be looking good.

 

Basturk and Hakan Yakin - we could have got to the UEFA Cup final again in 03/04 with them.

I was sure for ages we were going to sign Yakin and it never happened.

That would be a group we could genuinely think about continuing European football into the new year

All that said Real Madrid is long overdue and would be outstanding, Spurs at Wembley also

 

So cutting to the chase the opportunity to see Ronaldo and put on a good performance would be better than progressing, I'm struggling with that whole concept to be honest

Part of me wants the easy draw, part wants glamour ties. Either way I do not want * Barca again

 

Draws at 5 isn't it? Wonder what time we'll actually find out who we're getting, they take forever to actually get to the point

 

Let's not kid ourselves, we're getting Barcelona again and we all know it.

 

Yh don't really see the obsession with getting pumped by Real Madrid, would rather see a team like Dortmund and Napoli who we can somewhat compete with on the pitch if we were to get a "glamour game"

I wouldn't want to come up against Real, not at all. They are easily the best side in world football, I genuinely think they could take 7 or 8 off us home or away
