    the point isnt the attendance its that if maribor had the choice beforehand of whether to play us at home or somebody with less of a fortress stadium they would choose the later

    Seems like a stupid argument considering they beat us 5-0 on aggregate, but we shouldn't have lost that home leg, let alone lose it 3-0.

    the away game against Milan last year was probably the most frustrated I've been watching us. If we had that little bit of cutting edge it would have been a different result.

    At home though, aye, we were taught a lesson in taking your chances.


    Really don't know what to expect with this game- two months is a long time in football.

    Roberto mancini will have Internationale in far better shape by the time they play us, this will be a huge test for our team ... But definitely a winnable tie...
    But I feel we a needing a mid capable of unlocking a tight defensive unit however these type come at a cost

    Lesso-ardoyne, I don't think we are that better. John Guidetti is the only one who swings it and it remains to be seen if he can cut the mustard in Europe. I think we were very, very lucky to get through the group stages.
