Who could we replace Ange with?

We are set up to attract a decent calibre of manager, I have no idea why the board couldn’t offer a package like they were meant to have offered Ange to someone like Potter, if they like the cut of someone’s jib and they have a bit of a track record why * about.

Agreed. Although a risky appointment at the time Ange wasn't really a project. He actually manager. Maresca, he IS a project and much more risky.

With our current position, we should be hiring a proper manager.

If he is appointing managers that are failing, then ultimately he carried the can for that. Nuno Espírito Santo was another failure. All well and good saying he keeps the players, but again, this isn’t always a good thing. If the player doesn’t want to be there, why keep them? They are only going to upset the apple cart. Sell the player and reinvest the money.

I am not against maresca btw because I think they are gonna look at some continuity in regards to style and the ctg route which has served us well

His spell at Parma I can only think is because of the styles going to Italian football where it predominately prides itself in being a defensive style … he would have been all out attack also take into consideration you have a legendary keeper who’s older than you dynamic was never gonna work
