would be really appealing to managers who have maybe had a bump in the road and looking to rebuild reps . Champions league football , good squad at a good age with decent lengths on contracts.

This 100% - we know what Rodgers will give us. He will win us the league again no doubt about it.

If he's the man that can keep this ship sailing then it doesn't matter the money required. We're * loaded. Beat ajaxs offer and get him in.

BTW the board has really went for top managers lately. Rodgers was mind blowing tbh. Nearly won the league with Liverpool. Huge.

Howe, everyone knew he was top notch. Didn't get him but went for it.

    Lennon. * everyone * up :56:

I would be all for Knutson but before bodo he was a bit meh , also I think bodo are hard to play against at their home due to their climate ! A bit like how we struggle on astroturf. A lot of teams would struggle due to that fact.

would be good if he brought berg and Wembangomo with him

Fair enough. Don't think Knutsen is gettable at the moment but gotta go and try for him or someone who can adapt us for Europe as well as be attacking.

All eyes are now on the Board, hope it's an ambitious appointment.

He won't be up against a team full of diddys like Waghorn and Windass this time. 24 wins out of 38 is absolutely unacceptable too

Has to be. Guaranteed CL football, not sure who will want to leave due to Ange not being here and also the fact that it looks like the huns have got a manager/team that can beat the rest and depending on signings, will be able to compete with us.

We need to put a foot on their throat. Hoping the likes of PL has learned from the last time. We are in a position of power right now but only if we are ambitious, like you say.

Potter and Knutsen would be ambitious shouts and I think we would all accept both appointments.

However I believe it will be Steve Clarke or as many are saying a return of Brendan, either way it needs to be dealt with ASAP.

Lawell has proved he can’t be trusted to get deals done quickly, could be a frustrating off season.

A few folk have mentioned BR. Surely there isn't a chance of this wi the way he left the club. Its virtually the same board as before and they ain't daft.

Cannae see BR being interested either. He'll be after another EPL job, which won't be long the way they act down there.

Why do people think we'd go for Steve Clarke? He's never been the type to try and play the Celtic way.

If he goes a big favourite, I'll place everything I have against him getting it.

We will not accept that as an appointment. The board will surely know this.

"You've lost Ange but guess who we have..... Steve Clarke"

    Will not happen.

Doubt it as well. Heard he's been house hunting in the area, but also heard he's been buying properties for years and also considering a contract from Leeds...

    Pinch of salt obviously :84:

Just googled the betting odds and BR was 2/1 favourite.
