This sounds like a good option but how realistic is it he will come.

Football can change in a blink of an eye rangers who were in front by seven points was it swung back the way think it was a 12 point swing in space of two months and they were not a bad side they made a European final that year …. No one is miles I. Front only 3 games away from a disaster

The biggest question is, do we go with a manager or a coach.

Ange leaving will undoubtedly cause a vacuum, simply because he has complete of control of the football department and fills many roles, with in it. Our board didn’t learn from Rodgers leaving so we will probably have to fill some roles after Ange goes.

if it was my decision I’d try to get Rodgers back, yes he was a Rat etc, etc but they are all rats, who are only interested in themselves and I’ve no doubt that Ange will be proven to be a rat aswell, if he goes as, what he has been saying in public and what has actually been happening in lies.

I can see a scenario, where we bring in a coach, that coach needs to have the same ethos as Ange and must be a positional coach so he can continue where Ange left off and our transfer plans won’t be completely changed.

I fully expect lawwel jnr to get move up to director of football aswell.

Good. Get it right up them.

On the manager vs. head coach thing, IMO it should always be a manager. I want as little control as possible in the hands of those who don't work with the players every day. Also, having a guy dictate what style of football we should play and hire head coaches based on it leaves us unable to adapt to different opposition in Europe.

I actually think ange even though he got the players he wanted was more head coach tbf I don’t think it’s as clear cut as ange controls everything I think it’s been a group approach

If the board even think about John Kennedy I'll be even more convinced Ange was a total lucky punt

    Thankfully it won't be Lennon.

Which for me, probably gives me a false sense of security and confidence that the board won't * up our next manager appointment whenever they are required to start looking for a new guy.

I can see why Ange would look at the players at Spurs and fancy how difficult that challenge looks... but I do believe he'll give us one more season, just because he'll want one more crack at it with Celtic.

I don't want a 'Celtic man', real or fake. That is not the road to go down. Hopefully the board don't panic and * the bed. Therefore, no Lennon, Rodgers, Moyes, Brown etc.

Hopefully someone in the mould of a Wim Jansen or Ang. A good appointment with some fresh ideas.

Lets put it this way, he would have gone for the Brugge job if he would have been allowed to talk to them. Brugge went for Ronny Deila instead. I see us as much bigger the Brugge, so it would be realistic. Think second year Monaco wasnt good for him. He failed to lead them into championslg and now they are standing 6th with one game to go.

I would love an imaginative appointment like Potter or something but if it’s going to be Moyes or something along those lines I have to admit I’d happily take Rodgers back. It would be hard to stomach for sure but he would do a good job. Either way it’s an awful situation and I’m absolutely gutted beyond belief that Ange is going. I genuinely love the guy.

Think it needs to be a real head turning appointment or the Huns will think they have our number

a john Kennedy , Roy Keane type will have them buzzing

I want another imaginative appointment like Ange was who plays football in a similar way. Moyes, BR and Clarke would be a backwards step imo.

I will genuinely despair if we are getting hit with names like Clarke, Moyes and Keane.
Hopefully some gem from the City group, Knutsen because his team bodied us and seem to dominate domestically and perform well in Europe. Clement based on literally posts in here today and that Faria or whatever who was De Zerbi's assistant based on literally just seeing him mentioned today.
I don't feel too bad about taking Rodgers back but surely he burned all his bridges here with the suits upstairs when he left.
