I see this talk of big transfer budget and 5 year plan.
The bottom line is that the right tactics are as important as money.
I dont want to see us looking to spend big on players just because we are in a financially strong position. Rodgers has made lots of suspect signings in the past so im cautious about who he might bring in with a big budget.

Id like to see us keep going after players with pedigree who have potential and adding in proven quality when we can.

Think they are just assuming that based on McGowans article. I think it'll be 3 years

He has never managed at any club for 5 years, he either gets sacked or jumps for money, he will not stay with us for 5 years whatever happens.
All this pish about getting us to a european final, is just him talking himself up to get the job, he is a narcissist and a liar

I can’t see being 5 years because its too much money for us to pay out if it goes * up.

He's never returned to a club where a good chunk of the support base despise him..

    Uncharted territory. :giggle1:

Would imagine full backroom team will be named along with details of the deal BR has signed up to, with a few sweetners/long term ambition plans for supporters, to take the sting out of the doubters who are reticent about the return of Rodgers.

increased transfer budget dont mean * unless the ridiculous wage cap goes. the lofty abmitions of reaching a euro final hilarious. how about we aim to win a couple of champions league games or if we do well win a game in the knock out rounds. as a support who seemed to collectively agree not to sucked in by bullshit again here's the first chance

The Board wants to sell a vision to supporters, although an ambitious one it nevertheless is a good sign that we are appointing Rodgers and giving him substantial backing.

The good thing about this is that we appear to be strengthening from a position of strength.

Get a good off field structure/set up along with good analysts, sports science and medical team. Makes us a decent proposition for any manager when the time comes.
