    Nah, it's weird for me. I don't think keeping his options open would necessarily mean he doesn't have a preference toward us. In any walk of life its normal to keep your options open when going for a job, just as its normal for the employer to do the same by having multiple candidates

    Is it? Maybe it's just me, but I've never experienced going for a job interview and telling the interviewer(s) that I don't know whether I want the job or not. It doesn't seem normal at all to me. I've read that these things happen for the most qualified and talented few who are headhunted (hence why I said it might fly for Potter); but for a rookie yet to prove himself like Maresca? That just seems weird and a bit arrogant to me.
