Potter could be tempted cos of Champions League footy but probably too expensive now. That Bødo bloke who sussed us out would be a good call. He could also bring over a few massive vikings for our defence which is tiny.

I have no doubt that Kennedy will have improved in certain areas as a coach having worked with Postecoglou, but giving him the job with the intention of playing the same style would never work. Ange lives and breathes that type of football and has unwavering belief in it. That's not something somebody else can just carry on, because a few bad results and the temptation would be to change direction, become more solid, sure things up at the back, etc. So he'd have to do it on his own terms, in his own style, and I'm not sure he has the vision for that.

And he plays utterly rank football. Belgium were absolutely gash and Portugal have been as well.

Don't want him anywhere near the * gig.

I'm surprised Knutsen hasn't already moved to a bigger league tbh, anybody know the score there, has he just not been approached, happy where he is, not wanting to move out of his comfort zone?

A hope the talk of Moyes is alot of *, Rodgers or Knutsen is the type we should be looking at, just hope we have started the process already as I imagine the club would have expected him to leave.

Hope it doesn’t drag on half the summer and we don’t get any signings in for ages. We will no doubt lose a few more than we thought this summer now. We need to get it sorted quick and get players in that will take us to the next level.

Knutsen would be someone I would definitely sound out although he is a head coach and not a manager, he works to the former manager who is now the sporting director Aasmund Bjorkan (dad of the left back).

However, Knutsen and Bjorkan have had an Ange like impact on Bodo, leading an average club who had never won a title before to two titles and two runners up spots. He also has done reasonably well with them in Europe. I think this comes down to being able to set up a team to counter attack.

Don’t get me wrong coming to Celtic will be a massive step up in terms of expectations, pressure and scrutiny but he does seem very well tuned into mental preparations (remember their team doing those huddles at Celtic park constantly).

Most importantly his playing style is very similar to Ange,

    - 4-3-3 shape
    - play out from the back including goalkeeper
    - a midfield with one sitter who is more a playmaker than a destroyer and two energetic box to box midfielders,
    - a front three that all get goals normally with one winger staying wide and seeing a lot of the ball and the other being about getting in to get goals, a striker whose role is to get between the posts and finish things off.
    - likes to press and counter press opposition and play with high intensity (never stop).
    - likes good pace in the team.

The above all bodes well for our squad as it is what we have been trying to shape. We would also have time with no qualifiers to get his way of working nailed down and with Lawwel Jnr and our scouting improving we should still have a decent list of targets.

Knutsen and Bjorkan have also shown an excellent knack of picking up players playing in Scandinavia that fit his system and getting the maximum out of them. You would hope with a bigger budget and scouting network combined with still having a clear set of principles that he or they could be a success here.

My biggest concern with Ange leaving is who goes with him as I have said before. If there is interest in Kyogo, Hatate, CCV, Starfelt and Abada and they have ambitions to move on at some point does this then feel like their natural point to move on?

Moyes should be kept as far away as possible and Rodgers can stay in limbo as a manager. There are tons of options out there to take the club forward but those 2 will only bring regression in my eyes.

It’s now looking increasing like Ang is going.
If so, some fans need to give their head a wobble. If there is a chance of getting Brendan Rodgers it has to be done
The trophy’s he won, the unbeaten run
It’s the most sure fire way of continued success, and that’s the most important thing

I've kinda resigned myself that he's going now. Total bummer. My only hope that our board replace him with someone just as good and don't * it up as often as before. I was looking forward to another year of Ange, progress in the CL and an opportunity to bury those feckers for good however, once again, we might have given them an opportunity to feel optimistic about winning the league - especially after them winning the we beat Celtic in a total meaningless game trophy.

Knutsen or Potter, it’s vital we carry on with someone in the same sort of style as Ange had us playing.

Probably say Knutsen just edges it, although either would be good.

Someone get Marco Rose to resign from Leipzig pronto.

I reckon it's nailed on to be the Girona manager which i can't help but feel is incredibly short sighted
