Grand old team to play for
Kennedy has to go out and manage another teams first. If he can be a real success somewhere else, then I'd be ok with him getting the job down the line.

Experience of what? I’m not saying he’s the man but he has more experience than anyone we will get in understanding our club and what it means. Him alongside MON with the intention of him taking sole charge next season? All hypothetical obviously because Ange is staying, right??!!!
Incidentally if he was offered the Spurs job and it’s all just speculation, I can’t ever see him being offered such an opportunity again at that level.

You mention MON, I'd be happy if him and Kennedy took over if the big sexy Australian has to go.

Ange has already said we will be surprised at how long he is here. Admittedly that was prior to Spurs interest but he doesn’t strike me as a man who would easily be swayed.

One more season of AngeBall and a right good crack at Europe will be his focus IMO. If he does well then jobs similar to Spurs level will be available.

If we was to go, I think Potter would be a great appointment. Plays an attacking style of football. His stock is low after his tenure at Chelsea so it’s realistic that we could get him and would be ann opportunity for him to compete for silverware and at the highest level in Europe.

Don't get why you would want O'Neill back. He did great 20 years ago but the game evolved and he hasn't, you can see from how he has done since he hasn't evolved with it. He was also able to sign Sutton who only 15 months before won Premier league golden boot. I think he would struggle now

My fear is that the board will go and take a gamble on someone again like Ange in Japan/Australia etc.

Now it worked with Ange but who's to say it would work again? It was probably a cheap option at the time and the something that suits our board.

I just hope that the board are already working behind the scenes with someone we know and has a good record this time rather than that cheap gamble again...that might this time backfire.

Im assuming if Ange goes,Kyogo/Maeda/Jota/Hatate all follow pretty soon afterwards....So we also need to be working on these issues also.

PS. The Rat can GTF.....Id take Moyes well before that rodent.

You might be right, he wouldn't get the same financial backing from the board.

    It is bizarre.

MON is 71 years old and has been in club management for around 5 months of the last decade. It would be a farcical appointment and, thankfully, one that will never happen.

Kennedy, Brown, MON etc. None of these guys will be anywhere near the job if and when Ange goes.
