Which market should we be looking to exploit the most

Ligat ha'Al is fine - it's probably a good market for us to shop in. I think most people are comfortable buying from that league, unless the player's served in the IDF.

 

The Scottish market!! then the swedish, norweigan and Irish whilst continuing to try and get good prospects from the european market like we have done with Wanyama, Van Djik and the likes

 

The world is a big big place lol but markets like scandanavia and eastern Europe plus our own SPL are the markets that can be exploited whilst picking up the odd loan from England with a few to buying.

 

The French 2nd division

 

North Korea. Lawwell and Kim Jong Un would make a fearsome partnership. Once we are friendly with the North Koreans we can persue world domination.

We should be targeting EPL players who aren't making their first team squad, loan deals cfc

we have a great succes rate with championship players.hooper,wilson,commons,ledley,matthews,griffiths.

Really really surprised the Scandinavian market hasn't been touched at all since Ronny came in other then berget who you can probably count considering he was only at Cardiff for a little bit

I don't think there's any one market that we should be overly reliant upon. All it takes is one club who are willing to stump up more than us (which isn't difficult) for any potential deal to fall through.

A club of our size that is reliant on finding rough diamonds that others have overlooked should have a extensive scouting network across the world. Right now it just looks like we watch Sportscene while deila chats to a couple of old mates at Man City.

 

I think the Scottish market is fine, in moderation, as it can produce solid footballers who give us a platform on which to improve and gives us a bit of an identity/character.

As many have mentioned, I'm surprised that having a Norwegian boss hasn't led to us utilising that a little more. Malmo & Molde have proven that there are some very good players to be had, and they surely wouldn't cost all that much.

We've also had success picking up players from smaller clubs in decent sized countries - like Van Dijk (Netherlands) & Wanyama (Belgium).

Picking up older players from big clubs hasn't really served us well.

 

The Balkans and East Asia (S. Korea / Japan).
