I'm going to Australia when my kids grow up. I'm looking at houses in a wee town called Linlithgow just now. Beautiful wee place with lots of history. I grew up in springburn and moved to a rough area in Edinburgh called wester hailes because of my dad's work. All my family called it Ramsay street because it was so quiet. I'm in livingston just now because my dad hated Edinburgh

Vancouver's my favourite city in the world so that's the dream.

I'd like to live in Germany for a while as well. Thinking of doing a Masters over there next year as the courses there are tuition free. And in English.

Really there are too many places to list that I wouldn't mind living in.

All of my mums side of the family live in vancouver, my gran was only the only one of six siblings who didn't go to canada, I've always wanted to go there. New York is amazing so I'd pick there.

Wife has talked about moving to Dubai for work, but I'm not too keen on the idea.

I'd like to move closer to my family. Two flights away, at the minute, and it's pure *. I * hate them, but can't bear being away for so long at the same time. Aggravating.

I like the idea of opening a craft brewery place in Ireland, at some point. They're slowly catching on. You could probably make a reasonable amount of money. It's something I have an interest in, and besides, not many people are likely to do it any time soon. Most bars seem content doing the same *, like serving Carslberg, and waiting for the doors to close (permanently).

Probably wind up moving to another state, first though. Probably Portland, Oregon.

I would still also be interested to know why me wanting to live in Manhattan at some point made you "crack up", Doire_Bhoy.
