I think this is just as true for the the Scottish and Welsh as it is for English.

I guess it's because we struggle with languages on the whole.

My top 3 would be Holland, Belgium or Germany. Out everywhere i've been they're three ive like the most, the like to drink pints as well compared to France and Spain where the guys all seem to dress like students and drink wine or half pints etc they are more similar to the UK too just the way people act and the football fans and whatever. They seem less miserable and more laid back than people here though.

Ive never been interested in moving to Ireland, England, America, Canada or Australia or that.

Biggest problem moving abroad would probably be having to talk like a * when speaking in English as nobody would understand my normal way of talking. Would be worse if you moved to another English speaking country, youd end up having a mad mixed up accent like Gerard Butler or John Barrowman.

Constantinople, Athens, Cyprus or some Greek island.
I have never thought I could live somewhere out of Europe.
Yes, there are cool places like Rio etc, but Europe is Europe.

I went to Ireland over the summer and set my heart on retiring on the island of Valentia. Really, really charming.

No offence, but that's an attitude that I've never understood.

Why wait until you're in your sixties? You'll be half-dead by then. Why not go and do it while you're young enough to enjoy it to the full?

Of course, you may die before you're sixty, meaning you'll have not done it at all :86:

Manhattan but I hate the cold so in the winter I'd live in Vegas where it's nowhere near as cold

I love the city I live in. To many it's just an airport on their way to the *-awful English tourist places like Torremolinos and Fuengirola, but it's actually a place of culture and style.

The weather is great as well.
