having a bus pass was a must and was like having a driving licence.

48Hrs was one of the first moves I saw on our new VHS, rented from our local newsagent who had a wee video rental bit. A second hand Panasonic VHS my da' bought from a guy in work and we got 8 years out of it. They really don't make 'em like they used to.

My mate hanging his head in shame when we were 9 and discussing Robocop in they playground. Me "Have you seen it yet Chris?" Chris "Am no allowed tae see an 18." :56:

We were one of the 1st on our scheme to get a VCR which i was suprised at cos my da was (is) dead tight with gadgets & the like but i think it was the attraction of taping the fitba games that made him get it in the end, we used to rent out all sorts of guff too though, straight to video stuff & i mind i used to get dead embarssed when 1 of the actresses got her * out haha, sometimes i used to get up & kid on i needed the toilet :56::56:

You missed out Leo gamelli jumpers.we all had bmx bikes and built ramps for jumping or tried bunny hops and other stunts.that was 1st year,I prefer the younger years when kids games involved the whole street like rounders or kick the can or one man hunt and you were allowed to stay out late because everyones mum used to sit at the close.they were amazing days and the memories are fantastic.

Nowadays you're most likely to find used syringes, crumpled up tin foil and even the odd human * in a close.< All of that true...:54:

When the school bell went and you were in the middle of a game of football, someone would shout 'LAST ATTACK!' and next goal was the winner, no matter what the score was. :icon_mrgreen:

I had a huge crush on Mellisa Joan Hart when she was in Clarissa Explains It All. That might be before your time. Loved Sabrina's aunt, the tall skinny one..:100:

you could still get the belt at school.

computer battleships and merlin were hi-tech.

    argentina chews.

vienna loaf and chips out dalziels at baillieston at dinner time.

the celtic top didnae have a badge on it.

wills cigarette factory was still on the Ally parade.

old father time was just a wean.

mount vernon was considered the countryside.

parkhead forge was still a forge and not a shopping centre

the corpy buses were green , white and yellow.

lewis`s food hall was an amazing mixture of smells.

the carnival used to be at the kelvin hall.

    weans needed an imagination.

roy baines was in goal for celtic(sometimes).

    flares were in fashion.

port seton was the other side of the planet.

    oh aye a hadn`t tasted * yet.
