When I was wee what sticks out is, flying about on my bmx and almost killing myself in the process, wearing my monkey hat every day which * my mum off, finally being able to play Sweet Home Alabama the first song I learned on guitar, the first girl I had a crush on, £1 pocket money was enough for 2 packets of football stickers and shoot magazine, big bottles of maine lemonade, coca cola yo-yo's, bucky o'hare.

About all I can think off

I watched Thundercats/Saved by the Bell/ and teenage mutant ninja turtles endlessly.

All the kids went out and played footy from morning till night

    Super soakers were the dugs!

2 bob crisps were 2 bob but were huge and you even got 5p bags.
    20 Mojos for 10p
You could get 10 * aff the van for under a quid for your dad.
9p wee trial cans of Coke
Fitbaw stickers were 10p a pack.
    Roll and fritter 20p
Rangers were utter pish and struggling to get fortnightly attendances of 10,000 at Ibrox. (That's why I think they use the word loyal in irony)
Celtic pipping Hearts for the league on goal difference on the last day with a 5-0 spanking of St Mirren at Love Street...:icon_mrgreen: Whilst Hearts blow it at Dundee losing 2-0
Surprised this hasn't been mentioned: Getting lifted over the turnstyle by my dad, and of course:
"Watty lift us err big man" translated Would you please lift me over the turnstyle kind sir so I may enjoy the game for free.

shell suits were cool then a few years later so were adidas popper pants, a few more outrageous fashions i can remember are naf naf, eclipse, trash and curly illuminous laces in your pump up trainers that flashed when u walked.

postman came before lunch, could get anything delivered by the milkman and if you wanted to play a game on your commodore 64 you put the game in to load before you went out only to find that it crashed halfway through when you come home.

oh and alex the kid was the business which was built into my master system.
