Whats your Favourite game against the Huns

Lubo at ibrox -the 6-2 game and a 4-4 at ibrox in the 80s when murdo and mcstay scored a couple of belters ,im sure celtic were down 4-2 and pulled it back great game .

 

I just watched a game on Celtic TV Rangers V Celtic April 2005 and it struck me how so very different we play each other today. They played like men not scared to get in about each other and it certainly wasn't for the faint hearted. I reckon the only guy in our team today that would fit into that team at that time would be Scott Brown...........he would have slotted well into that midfield with Lennon and Petrov.

 

i think we should get them both together they would get on great. Any time ma wee granny feels depressed she watches her recording of the 6-2 game cos she says it cheers her up..

The ten men won the league game was a belter from what I have seen. I loved the New Years Day win when Lambert rifled one into the top bag. But the favourite is 3-0 at Ipox, Lubo was outstanding and Larsson to get his milestone.

 

That game was a monday night and the bbc pulled the plug on it ,came out with some * like a power failure or something ,i listened to it on the radio ,wee johnny doyle got sent off ,but the bhoys still done it

Lubo and Petta were phenomneal.
Beautiful sunny day.
MON put us back on the map.
Sutton became a hero.
Bwabag got sent off.
We were on our way back to dominance.
For me that was the day happy days returned.

 

3-2 match last season

we went ahaed.. then they took the lead.. and finally we won it

and it was my only old firm match :icon_mrgreen:

 

the 6-2 game due to larssons genius and the scoreline, followed very closely by the 5-1 game of november 1998.....lubo was abs immense as per usual.

April 1969 at Hampden when Celts thrashed the huns 4-0 in the Scottish Cup Final..When 20yr old George Connelly was tremendous scoring one and an assist for another..Scorers were McNeil, Lennox, Connelly and Chalmers..

my fav game was the 2-0 win at Ibrox Sept 1981.

Not because we won, but because of where I was. I was in the Govan Stand , the first day it opened.

As each goal went in, just to look over at all the Celtic fans going mental, gave me a great feeling.
To top it all , all the Rangers fans I was next to where going off there heads and most of the Celtic fans who couldn't hold there emotions got moved over the the main stand terrace, needless to say I was not wearing my colours that day.
