Pain in the hole toilet training. Started well and now * and * everywhere.

Tried to take him his first walk today.....having none of it. Terrified so he was.

All you can do is give her the love and care she deserves.

That reminds me of my dads 2 dogs 13 years ago when they was first puppy's. I was the first one to take them for a walk after the jags etc. They'd pull back wanting to go home and look terrified. 2 walks later and they pulled me along and didn't want to go home. That first walk was the funniest thing iv ever been on. There face when they seen a big dog was classic.

In 13 years they are still here and healthy and somehow have not grown up and the fattest still enjoys a we pee at night in the hall :56: :56: good luck.

Oh aye if its raining and they can hear it, the thinnest sneaks up the hall and into the we alcove bit to sneak a poo out... thing is you can see his we head popping out :56: :56: glad they're no mine.

Enjoy the time you have left with her. My girl Sorcha is 17 now so I know how you feel as you know their time is limited now. Sorcha doesn't have the legs anymore for her long ways so we still take her but in a little cart and she likes that and we take her out for little bits so she can walk as much as she is able.

Yeah I'm afraid I'm pretty much in the same boat now too, my bhoy is 11.5 years old which is very good for a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, hardly does anything anymore, just kinda lies on the couch and barks, but he lies on his back legs so much he gives himself pins and needles and occasionally stumbles and falls. It's hellish to see for me but it's so hard to say is the time now or am I doing him an injustice. I don't think he'll be here at Xmas but it's so hard to get it done if you know what I mean.

I loved all my dogs but why does this part always come around so soon !

    I t

I totally get you but you will know when it is time to take your wee buddy to the vet .
I took my wee pal to the vet to put her down 6 months ago and the whole family was around her when it happened, we all cried our eyes out during the event but it was very comforting that we were all there at the time , I am sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks typing this , now I look at the pictures of my wee pal , smile and think of all the brilliant times we had and know that she is not suffering now .

Many others as well as myself have had this, our Jackson I had to take three years ago to the vet and even tonight we had a chuckle about him. Just remember the good times is all I can say, not rocket science, but all I can offer tbh.

I am very worried and upset. My Boxer Ruby Roo has an Eye Ulcer. Something was not right with her left eye late Sunday afternoon, but despite being a lot better I still went to the Vets this morning and yes she has a Eye Ulcer. That was a shock ,so was the cost of treatment. I asked The Vet to show me how to put the Eye drop in, she did. But since then her Eye is worse and has gone swollen and is redder. So I phoned The Vets and no more eye Drops today and if her Eye is still swollen and sore to go back tomorrow.
I feel terrible she went their fine as such and now is in discomfort despite the pain killers. I just hope it is just a reaction and her eye is okay in the morning. But at least the Vet put the drop in and not me.
Maybe it is an Allergic reaction, I am of course very worried and hate putting Eye Drops in any eye, let alone my Boxer Daughter.
On top of that, she has had a small lump under her fur on her back for over 2 years now, it has stayed the same small size, but now after originally been told to make sure it does not grow etc etc I have been advised to have it checked for out. FFS!!
Anyway I am upset, angry and feel very guilty about making Ruby Roo worse. If I am not happy with the situation tomorrow I am going to another Vet.
