it was probably a hun in a police uniform that took your ticket away. it remains unclear if it was because you had alcohol or because you shouted though.

phone celtic, they will ask you to come and get your season ticket.

That is not too bad. People in Belgium get a half season ban and fine of up to 300 euro for just showing the middle finger to the other supporters in the stadium (it is forbidden to provoke the other supporters). I think you got off pretty well.

It's forbidden to provoke other supporters? What kind of dumb * PC rule is that?

Taken half the fun out of football that.

Exactly my thoughts. There were problems with hooligans here in the past and they got rooted out (so the police did do a good job there), but now regular supporters (scarvers) are being watched a bit too closely.

didn't expect it, considering it's the first time i've ever been in trouble at the club.

i've been to every game this season bar 2 away games.

Just bad luck that it happened in front of a * of a policeman. Celtic should have just gave you a slap on the wrist and let you have it back tbh, like the police officer should have done in the first place.

aye, it's just that i was defenseless, as my mates had gone in the other side, and others went to the pub...

the ban isnt definite i dotn think, he said "we will write to you within the next couple of days, it's likely a 3 match ban"

Don't let *, that abuse their position, make you stop fighting.

I'm wondering if there are any similar cases. Anyone ever been involved in anything like that before?

    Good luck mate.

Immortal - i just posted this in another thread but here's what i seen at Tynecastle 2 weeks back :

I'm sure the stewards do a good job but when i was at Tynecastle a couple of weeks ago i was a bit shocked. A guy was waving the Starry Plough flag at half time and, instead of being asked if he could remove it, the steward just grabbed him, no warning or anything. Actions like that are going to provoke a reaction from fellow fans to support the guy.

on that occasion 10 or 15 fans blocked the exit and the police got involved and there was a bit of hassle in the pie stalls area.

aye i saw that, was going to the toilet at half time, and the police and fans were all pushing through each other,

Disgraceful, "football without the fans is nothing" - our club would do well to remember that.

And on the starry plough - there's incidents with the stewards and police everytime that gets flown. The Starry Plough CSC had some hassle from the stewards at the St. Mirren game the other week, it's a disgrace.

Supporting your team is not a crime.

agreed, the good thing about Celtic fans is they will support you against stewards, police etc, insteado f just sitting back and letting things happen.
