For Fife it has to be Methilhill now, Methil in general is a shitehole.

We went for a day away last summer and headed down to fife, ended up in Kirkcaldy… from memory there was a shopping centre that needed bulldozed and we came out onto the Main Street from it … it was like stepping back into the 70/80’s, * me what a dump :giggle1:

Visited springburn a while back and fortunately the area I was in wasn’t too bad but had to get something from the small shopping centre there. Never seen soo many junkie bums in one place, felt like something out a bad tv show.

Was in Kirkcaldy today, hasn’t changed much since the summer.
TBH, it hasn’t changed much since the summer of 1970.

I’ve seen many places in the UK while working away and there are loads of depressing places down in England as well.

Fortunately i live in a decent area in Gateshead but * me parts of it is run down and probably won’t

get any better anytime soon, think a third of people here live in poverty.

the north south divide will never get better due to those * in Westminster.

    .

That's my area. I'm from Bonnybridge. We have an ongoing rivalry with Denny that's lasted years so I will agree that it's grim.

    But worst town in Scotland????

Cumbernauld is depressing as * and the houses look like Soviet Russia.

Airdrie though is full of absolute bell ends so it has to be up there.

There's a good few in Ayrshire that are in with a shout.

But Cumbernauld takes the prize I think.
And their accent doesn't make sense either.

Lived in 'Chateau Au Lait' a number of years a while back, like most places it was the natives that let the area down. Was vastly outnumbered by Orcs inhabiting the vicinity (working at the wrong coloured football club didn't help either I suppose ). But 'castlemanky' in general was a walk in the park.

'Methalhill' sounds quite rough, is it got lots of druggies?

Heres where i'm from, nothing compared to some places but still not as posh as they say.

Met a good few from Possil in my time. They battle with Maryhill constantly apparently. It's a rough, rough area

Best lawyer I ever had was from Saracen Street. As soon as I switched to him I did a lot better in front of the judge. It's amazing the difference when the lawyer actually tries!!

That Priesthill in Glasgow is a bad area but it's probably Govanhill that takes the prize nowadays. That is an actual 'No Go' area now at night time...Romanian Gypsies have taken over Govanhill completely

Falkirk is not bad at all. We have a canal wheel ffs and ridiculously huge horses heads. It's quality.
Falkirk have their own fitba casuals aswell...The Falkirk Fear....so beware if they get promoted this year and we have to go through to play them...they will shout and throw things and try to scare people...lol
