I’m not sure this is one of the scenarios where they’re being overly cautious either.

    It’s a huge storm.

Aye tomorrow isn’t going to be great, just about every big customer has emailed that their workplaces are shut as well as all building sites.

All schools and all trains as well, they’re clearly expecting a bad yin this time. Even Windy Wilson says they’re no at it this time :56:

Ffs it’s only water and wind. In Scotland you should all be used to it by now.

End of the feckin world coming up here in the NW, meteorologists saying expected wind speeds to be the highest ever recorded in Ireland, hatches being well and truly battened.

Phones had the alert 5 times ffs.

Don’t think this is one the gov/councils etc are over playing which is quite often the case with these types of things.

Stay safe folks. Wouldn’t be going out anywhere unless it’s a must.

Hope firstly that everyone remains safe, and the power stays on.

Outwith us, there has been some strange weather with snow in Florida.

Latest model runs have 90-100 mph gusts across the entire Central Belt for a period of quite a few hours tomorrow.

Donegal and the W coast of Ireland potentially 120mph. That's crazy.

I’m second in command at a local roofing company these days and we basically had to tell the lads to call it in about lunch time today. Get the jobs weather proof and safe. Expecting a few calls over the weekend from customers past and present :giggle1:
