What's the greatest game of all time?

Goldeneye 64 with 4 players was so much fun.

I remember on Alex the kid after every level you had to do rock, paper, scissors with a crocodile. That was the first bullshit wipe mechanic i ever saw.

 

GTA V.

Spanned 3 generation of consoles and online is popular as it's ever been, obviously the GTA 6 announcement was a major factor but last month saw the most users since it launched in 2015.

 

Absolutely loved Assassins creed 2, playstation had the trilogy on the store during lockdown had a great time playing it again, pes 2005/06 games were great aswell as where the fifa games from 09-14.

 

Might sound pure boring but I don't think I've ever been as obsessed with a game as I was with COD with Verdansk/Rebirth Island on Warzone. For me, the greatest game ever.

For actual gameplay/story modes, I've always been a fan of GTA and RDR.

Nostalgia factor for Vice City is through the roof for me, me and my mate doing an all nighter to complete missions in each others saves (brought his memory card) that neither of us were doing good enough to do ourselves. Peak 13 year old great times man

Nostalgia wise has FF7, 8 and 9 as the best for me. But objectively, it’s RDR2 I think.

Storytelling in a game that was that much an open world with that much freedom in it, without feeling like the gameplay you were away to discover on your own was apart from the main story, which is always the open world issue ‘worlds going to end, two seconds I’m collecting random collectibles’. It was flawless. Not to everybodies taste as a game basic gameplay and deliberately slow but for me, it’s 6 years out from it now and nothings got close.

Special mention This is Football 2003, had the Lisbon Lions and all the legendary teams, and if you got skint and * off if you pressed R2 you’d 2 foot their kneecaps and be satisfied with the red card.

Best option ever added to a football game that, you could vent you’re frustration lose the plot and 100% get a red. And as much as you know you’re not helping yourself, sometimes it’s too tempting to Roy Keane the *. Should be mandatory in all football games that

 

Mario 1,2,3 and mario world. Does anyone know if i can i play these on a nintendo switch or DS?

Manhunt was underrated for me.

First time a played it, it was just a mod, remember downloading it on a 56k internet connection and it took days. The actual game worked great on 56k right enough a lot better than unreal tournament or quake 3 as they where laggy as * unless you had cable.

 

Under rated classic will purchase on PC as well and its very rare a buy a game twice.

 

San Andreas is the nostalgia factor for me.

Then as I’ve gotten older, * of War 1 & 2, Elden Ring, Last of Us are all games that made me love games again as an *.

In terms of hours played its Football Manager, FIFA and Cod. None are near the greatest of all time, but they have meant the most to me. In terms of growing up and memories with mates.

Being 16 when Modern Warfare came out was just perfection. Going home and getting a full squad of us on and that carried into MW2.

Then Warzone and lockdown happening brought all that back for us. It was honestly what got me through all the time I was by myself, what a time to be alive that was. Funnily enough, I don’t think Warzone would be nearly as big if it wasn’t for lockdown.

 

Each with a different colour controller and a rumble pack.

 

I liked pokemon stadium on n64. You could take all the pokes you caught on your gameboy and battle with them in a tournament.

 

Does anyone remember? True crime streets of LA on the ps2.
It was a gta clone fair to say but when it came out there was a lot of buzz about it.

I remember that game well,the shoot outs were fun vs the Russian mafia etc.It had a really good soundtrack,loads of west coast rappers.

Sure you could unlock Snoop Dogg as a playable character as well

 

Yea mate you could train your guy up in the dojo and learn some sick moves plus the shooting like you say was awesome. Could do flip while wielding two upgraded to the max pistols and basically obliterate everything. Gameplay has fell off since then
