It is just the height of laziness. If they can't be bothered getting themselves dressed in the morning to take their kids to school, I can only imagine what else they can't be arsed doing as a parent in general.

The thing is, they probably don't even wear pyjamas to bed. They just flop down in their jeans and One Direction t-shirts and get changed into their pyjamas to take their Grandweans to school. The dirty skanks.

How pathetic is your life if you can't even motivate yourself to put clothes on in the morning. The sad thing is they think they're cool as * :31:

Anyone who turns up to the school gates in pyjamas needs a good hard look in the mirror and ask themselves why their life is so worthless they can't be * putting clothes on in the morning.

Embarrassing for them and their kids. The head is totally right, whether it's intrusive or not. I wouldn't even call it intrusive anyway, it's more encouraging people to take pride in their appearance and set the right example to their children, not that they should need that at that stage of their life.

I suppose most of them are just going back to bed anyway, saves time.

I doubt the weans care. I can't even remember most of primary or cared what my maw was wearing when she dropped me off. Most of them are probably just going back to bed anyways it would be a different if they showed up at 3 for them in pyjamas.

OK, it's embarrassing but why should the school be dictating what people should be wearing? If they want to come in their jammies and look like an idiot then let them.

The school should stay out of this, it's none of their business what the parents decide to wear.

They aren't dictating at all though. The head teacher just wrote a letter asking them not to wear pyjamas and explaining why she felt it wasn't a good idea. She's not stopping them doing it in any way.

I think they are perfectly within their rights to wear jammies on the school run if they so please. Equally though that means the head, and the general public, are also well within their rights to judge them for doing so!

Like most have already said if you can't be arsed taking 5 minutes to dress yourself in the morning before leaving to take the kids to school what kind of a parent are you? What else can't you be bothered doing for your kids?

I dont think its ideal, but i also dont think its quite the end of the world either.

Changing their jammies wont make them better parents.
