What you having for Dinner/Tea?

My go to is lemon chicken.

 

Hot and sour soup
Salt and chilli chips
Chicken chew mein or Kung po chicken with rice.

Tonight I’m not having tea can’t be bothered eating anything.

 

Chicken burrito.

It’s just disappointing and not very good.

Steak I got reduced to £1.73 at the cash n carry, unless its stinking when I open it then it'll be roast veg n we roast toties.

 

Not dinner or tea but breakfast.

4 egg Cheese, Onion, Mushroom, Tomato Omlette and 2 cups of coffee

 

Think it’s Overrated and Pepe’s on Woodlands road * all over it same idea regarding the food on offer but the quality is far Superior

We planned on getting a takeaway tonight, but after looking at what we had in the cupboards/ fridge, we ended up making a *Korean beef street food dish with egg fried rice.

*When I say Korean, we made a few deviations from the the usual to accommodate what we had, Teriyaki sauce (Japanese) was the main flavouring, with spring onions, garlic, fresh chilli, soy sauce, ginger, rice wine, various beans (from a tin of 5 bean salad) and a selection of various other spices and salt etc out the cupboards . All done in one large frying pan.

Garlic and egg fried rice done in my girlfriend's special way, really light and fluffy, I always seem to get it sticky but she manages to do it so every grain is separated from the rest.

Took 30 minutes start to finish, two glasses of wine each with a bit of music playing in the background........ I love messing about in the kitchen and exploring new flavours

 

Spinach and Ricotta Canelloni with fried potatos with bacon....just so the vegans dont win

 

Weird.

 

Ireland belongs to the Irish, man.

 

Stick some square sausage in a bolgnese sauce with pasta ... belter of a meal.

 

It’s the wee Smokey’s in Stirling on Barnton st that’s the best btw…there’s a bigger one nearer McDonalds as well but it’s the wee one you’re after…* quality food.

I’m a big pepe’s guy tbf. Think their stuff is great.

 

Pepe's near me is pretty gash.

 

Had the best Panang curry of my life last night, not sure what made it different as its my usual from the same place, might of been proper hungry.

Always stick "extra spicy please" on the notes & jaysus do they deliver, so much extra chillies in the sauce.
