Aye but the bizarre thing is I still can post in Celtic Chat!

I've posted in the Salzburg thread, just to show that I can.... not unless only I can see my posts in Celtic chat now? :97:

I've asked for Mod clarification :icon_mrgreen:

Sounds like a decent idea to me.

Personally, I'd use it to travel, though. I'm not too bothered about material possessions, I'd rather just enjoy it.

    End thread!

50grand - for me I'd pay off the relatively small debt I have. Put aside deposit for a decent sized family home (say 15-20k) decent holiday, and the other 30k would be invested in some capacity.

Would persoinally need to research the best methods to do so mind you.

Stick it on a YES vote or if you have absolutely no scruples you could buy into the cash cow that keeps giving, sevco and make a fortune :icon_mrgreen:

I have a mate up north who is planning to fit his own 'Hydro-electric scheme' at the bottom of his garden.

He has a water source and wants to set it up so he can sell the power back to the grid or something along those lines.

It costs around 200k to install but he would make that back in 3 or 4 years, after that everything is profit. I'd invest it into that in return for a share of the profits for the rest of my life, could make a decent bit of cash and would continually get money back ontop of my 50k investment.

Couldn't think of many other ways to spend it wisely, wouldn't have a clue what to do in regards to stock market and shares etc.

Similar idea to the poster on the first page said, can't remember who. Installing a wind turbine or something is the way to go.

Renewable energy certainly seems to be the way forward if you aren't looking for an immediate return.

    Definitely.

Wish I had my own constant water source:56:, from what he has told me it sounds like a good deal.
