What would you do as manager?

Personally I would have started a thread in here with a poll attached to find out who the fans think i should buy , buy the top two in the voting then if the player/players turned out to be pish or performed poorly in a couple of games then i would sack/ban everyone who voted for him/them :icon_mrgreen:

How about this, buyout a cash-strapped 2nd/3rd division Scottish league (or English?) team to loan out all the promising young players to get them experience of playing week in week out. Might be a bit of a legal rangle though.

Alternatively how about making David Moyes 'an offer he can't refuse'? then legging it with the change?

 

I'd have bought Big Jan a new pair of shooting boots as a late xmas pressie lol.

Not much that can be done in January. Got some mates that keep saying that we can afford players as James Beattie and El-Hadji the Spitter went for less than 3million each. What a lot of peeps keep forgetting is that they will be on excess of 35k a week, which the Celtic board wouldnt pay.

We should have went round Europe looking for people who were out of favour at their clubs, and tried to get them on a similar deal that we got Samaras on last year

I would:

1) Try and bring in a left-back
2) Try and bring in a striker
3) Consider replacing Naka in prep for next year
4) Scour Europe for any opportunist top signings

What Celtic done:

1) Tried to sign a left-back (M. Cech, that Norwegian trialist)
2) Tried to sign Steven Fletcher
3) Tried to sign Hutzi
