Even if they become a Newco, Ticketus will still be a part of it, and they'll still owe them 20 or so million, it's going to take them a while to come back from that. Plus, are 40,000 huns really going to turn up to watch the * players that make up Rankers team week in week out next season or the seasons following? Doubt it.

If they go newco they wont owe Ticketus anything. They will be a new company with no obligation to the old company and everything that goes with it.

And why would they have * players when they can just rehire the current players they have as they will be free agents, on the same wage they were on before admin, and operating as normal.

    * Newco unless they are severely dealt with.

I can't ever envisage a day where I decide to pack Celtic in.

I'm here for the long haul :celt_2:

I would never ever stop supporting Celtic, but I question whether I could continue to plough money into a corrupt institution, that our own board had been complicit in continuing.

That being said if push came to shove I'd find it difficult to actually stop going.

Worrying amount of people who would keep paying money into a sport which was complicit in allowing cheating to go relatively unpunished.

I would never stop supporting Celtic but to keep putting money into an organisation that turned a blind eye to decades of systematic cheating would really test my resolve.

To think otherwise is to play right into their hands of letting the huns off with the minimum punishment possible.

I don't think I could ever pack it in. There's no chance of us voting them back in anyway, and I'd like to be able to say that if they did then I'd give up on Scottish football. We've had to deal with so much bias against us over the years anyway, so for the SPL to ignore years of financial cheating by the scum would be the final straw. However, I don't think I'd be able to. I love the Hoops too much. Besides, if that happened then I'm certain Lawwell and co would have a bit to say on the matter. We didn't lie down to them over the refs, no way would we let something like this slide.

The second option. I'd stop going if the newco got back in to the SPL and we voted for it.

It makes the league a complete farce if they get back in but if the rest of the clubs vote for that I wouldn't hold it against Celtic. I would lose a bit of respect for them if they were in favour of the farce though.

It would feel like they're saying to the huns "you're too big to fail", "we can't live without you", "you are the people" and saying to us "* you and your ideas about fairness and integrity, just keep paying us your money to see us play these *".

I don't think they will vote for it though.

Never stop watching them. Remember even if rangers get in, they'll need to sign about 25 players+ just for a squad, no europe, no tv money etc means wages will be level with some lower clubs. They'll be lucky to push top half of the table with no mcshagger and naybaws jsut a bunch of nobodys. Highest earner your looking at 2-5k a week. People who are buying them are skint as it is. They're not going to be a problem for 10 years?

    I will always watch Celtic.

I don't give a * which league the unwashed ones are.

We'd like them to die but we all know that won't happen.

You can't have sunshine without rain, you can't have good without evil.

We wouldn't know we were the best, if we didn't have the scum about!

I kinda dislike this thread, but here's where I might pack it in ...

If Celtic gets beat in ANY of the three competitions by Rangers (or whatever they're gonna be) next year ... or even in the next few years.

I wanna see us embarrass them (and their pathetic supporters) at every single turn on the pitch.

Celtic is always miles ahead in class off the pitch, so ... let's finish them off.

Why do Rangers concern us? We always talk about not wanting to be associated with them, yet some 'fans' claim that they won't support Celtic because of their current situation?

    I will always support Celtic.

I don't think anyone is saying they would stop supporting Celtic - I'm not actually sure how you do that anyway - but my problems would start if Celtic voted a newco back into the SPL with a 10 point deduction. It's * pish if that happens. They will be debt free and still finishing at least second every year.

How is that punishment? It's basically saying cheat all you want, win titles with money that wasn't yours, lord it over your rivals (moonbeams tenner for every fiver quote) then walk away from all the debt you racked up and we'll welcome you back because we can't live without you.

It would * stink and I'm not sure I would want to continue to contribute financially to a sport that is complicit in blatant cheating.

I picked No.1. I love Celtic but I can't go to football games if they are allowed back into the SPL after liquidation because we would be paying to watch a sham league.

Celtic IMO would have to resign from the league in protest if this was allowed to happen. We would then need to apply for entry to bottom tier of the English leagues.
