I agree ,if they tighten that back line and the strikers hit form ,i dont see anyone stopping Celtic this season ,but the hard work starts now ,they must go on a run to prove that there capable of been a team and maybe the fans will trust them again.

Yeah, I think at least some credit for that goes to Killie. They came to play a football game, not just to sling 10 men behind the ball. Is Jim Jefferies getting cavalier in his old age? :icon_mrgreen:

I think Jim Jefferies probaly fancied his chances and rightly so ,given the performances Celtic have put in of late.

The start of that sentence gave me a sudden image of Jim Jefferies on the pull, & it was so horrible I had to stop reading. :56:

Only heard the game on radio but it seems we were moving. A big improvement from being rooted to the spot which drives me nuts. I think if we had played like recently , especially in defence, killie would have made more of their posession.

Thought the game was good to watch, although did have a lot of problems with the stream I was watching, thought Mcgeady was a bit of a greedy player today trying to * the goals all the time without weighing up the best option. bit hard to see when stream stopping and starting but was what came across on my viewing

Yet another dive in the box which isn't going to look to good on him... why dive we were winning comfortably ffs

Was not thinking europa cup today but if we can put on a a show like that and be a bit more clinical in finishing (it should have been 5-0) maybe beating hamburg isn't impossible hail hail

Totally agree with you Kennydal. I can imagine TM saying "we are on top now and that is the way it has to stay". The defence needs bolstering and the rest could look after itself imo.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Should really try just to edit your last post m8 :86: TBH from what I seen today he was totally selfish and what came across as trying to build a good profile of himself... that never worked through his finishing results

Were you at the game?? McCourt didn’t have a good game at all IMO, he was knacered by half time! Had a few runs across the box and a couple of snap shots but didn’t have a great game! If he can't last a full game by now he doesn't deserve to be a first pick, i mean how long does it take for a 25 year old to get fit! If we were to play Paddy every week we would need 4 subs, an extra sub just for him!

Really good performance, the only issue is the continuing one of CB's who cannot win the ball at set pieces. they were ok overall but at that they are * poor and need replacing. Kyle is a journeyman, if they two were up against a good player we would have been in trouble.

For me we still cannot defend.

There obviosuly must have been a problem with your stream. Try actually going to the match, your way off the mark with mcgeady.

Agree with parts of that. He had a decent game but needs to spot the pass more often instead of tryin to take on the whole team.

I don't think anyone had a poor game. Some played better than others. CM was solid and crosas played some quality passes. Sammy played good, couldn't fault his work rate, occassional sloppy passes but got in teh positions atleast. Hopefully this would b the confidence boost to kick start our season.
