I think the players knew they had to put in a big performance today not just for us but for themselfs too, our midfield was dominant from start to finish Naka just ran the whole show today this performance will be a huge boost to us.

    .
It looks to me like Strachan has told the players to get the ball moving forward and into the box quicker today instead of all this 'down the wing--back a bit--sideways--other wing--back--sideways'-pish.
He's obviously told them too shoot on sight from distance more often.
    .
When i came into the stadium today at 20-to-3, the players were practicing longy's instead of doing the usual passing excercises.

McGeady started and so did Crosas.

Crosas is yet to lose in a Celtic jersey.

losing top spot last week was the wake up call the team needed. they love winning titles and the thought of falling behind the Huns has awaken Celtic for run home. I think we will see a different team for remainder of season. Not saying we will win every game by so many goals but we will be a real threat form now on!

Being prepared to SHOOT from anywhere given half a chance, granted, against a * St Mirren side, but having the gumption to just buckin well have a dig.

WGS team talk probably had something to do with it. That's what I told him to tell them anyway. In a nutshell: Thank the Onion.

Agreed. Nakamura and Crosas were outstanding today. That was the difference. If Crosas doesn't start against Kilmarnock, Strachan is a *.

You know Messi: you're so non-committal and surround yourself in impenetrable metaphors so as not to offend people that it's hard to read between the lines and see what you're subtly hinting at. Say what you really mean man!:86:

    The Celtic Way

Celtic have been playing to much of the passing game, and trying to pass the ball into the net too often, glad to see we started to remember we don't shoot we don't score, thats wot happened, trick now is learn when to pass and when to shoot.

    hail hail :shamrock:

I was never the best player in the world but I would always shoot if within a reasonable distance. Astounds me that the pros seem feart to do so so often.
