St pauli by a country mile, sure we sell their gear in the superstore, I saw a deadly picture of them before, where the whoole end was one massive tricolour and writing saying
"we congratulate celtic on their 39th title"
That is amazing, against some random german team.
Shamrock rovers is a good shout too, they wer in the celtic view before, theres a good few celtic jerseys at Rovers games an alot of fans travel regulary to celtic park, I suppose alot of irish teams are similiar.

I think its true , its common knowledge that everton are the catholic team and liverpool the protestants but tbh i like liverpool , got on well with their fans when i was down for the Man Utd game. Man Utd fans, theres a different story

getting of subject but the whole liverpool are prods and everton the catholic team i dont think there has ever been religious divide like us and rankers cause i know a lot of scousers who are catholic and support the pool. As far as i know there still is a catholic church in goodison!

Why Motherwell? All Everton have done is "crib" the Celtic song into something very average. The only reason that some Catholics support them is because when Liverpool were formed after the row over the Ground, the man that led the breakaway was a Unionist politition in the City. Evderton were actually formed from a Methodist Sunday School /Boys Club and in reality the support of both Merseyside clubs has, for the most part been mixed.

I wouldnt worry too much all these Spanish players Liverpool have must be Catholic and Kevin Keegen was too (I understand) our greatest Manager and some of our greatest players, Dalglish, Mcgrain, Gemmill were all Protestant so who cares.:50:

Intersting that because many Mancunian based MU fans are historically Catholics

Hate the liverpool comparison, even hun I know seems to support them & every time I drive though a protestant area of Belfast there's Liverpool & Rangers tops everywhere.

I know its the ivory Coast way but surely its the thought that counts. Thats a fantastic gesture by a different set of fans towards us.
