    5 or 10cms is actually quite a large distance and I think would just lead to more teams parking the bus. I also think watching teams pull off successful offside traps and players beating them with brilliant balls and runs is a good watch.

    Stop the parking bus by making sure only a maximum of 4 defending players in front of an attacking player

    Not all fouls in the box should be a penalty. Only when it's prevented a direct, goalscoring opportunity should it be one. Seeing them given when a player is tripped up on the byline, running away from goal, is a farce.

    Foul throws shouldn't be a thing. As long as the player throws the ball with both hands, let it go. Shouldn't matter if they have both feet off the ground, or chest pass the ball like in basketball.

    Red cards should be given for those fouls where a player is breaking up the pitch on the counter attack in the opposition half, and the recovering defender just blatantly pulls them down by their shirt, with no attempt to play the ball. Would require a bit more thinking/context, but I hate those fouls only getting a yellow card.
