They are very good players...but we have enough money to buy them??

 

noone seems to realise that its the WAGES of all these top players that is the problem. we cant afford to pay big wages nowadays, it doesnt matter what transfer fee we pay or what 'ambition' the board shows, the fact is we cant pay megabucks. this is because, to state the obvious, we cant spend more than we make during the year, and with scottish league tv revenue this doesnt amount to much.

 

Magnin & Larsen would not cost the earth & could do a job. I don't know much about Gibson.

 

If we could sign Tommy Gravesen it would be sensational, and it would also be 1 down and 2 to go!

Give me Gravesen, Kadlec and VOH and id be confident of doing the treble.

 

He would be a real quality signing but if Celtic were going to move on him, they would have by now.

I'd say Chelsea's asking price + his wages could blow the budget for another striker. I would love to see him and Gravesen in the squad. Id be confident then of a really good season

 

That would set us up for the next few years the way Larsson did when he came here. Im not saying hes better, but it would have a similar impact I would think, especially considering his age and what he's accomplished. I wish...
