Probably, I was just saying what seems to be the case for some of them and my example was based on Utd/Aberdeen. I can safely say I have never been to a deaco/sevco charity event :smiley-laughing002:.
I don't even know if the tackle on Hartson took place, has/does anyone know if it actually happened ? I have no idea.
In case anyone thinks I am sticking up for the ref on Sunday, I'm not, imo, he saw it.

You are right, I have never seen a ref at any Celtic dinner I have been at but I never said I have.
When I have attended smaller teams sportsman's dinners, with other Celtic fans, sometimes the ref will tell us a "funny" story about how he booked/missed something. My point is they likely regurgitate the same story to suit the audience

Bit of truth in it though, people tend to look at these as isolated incidents rather than an overall bigger picture thing.

Yes there is some truth in it but equally I don't want to just tar them all as raging hun * either. (not saying there is no corruption either).

As for the ban, so what? He should have been red carded in the first place and missed next game. SFA making a * of themselves! Meekings & McLean should both be banned.

Remember Boerrigter getting a 2 match ban? Why can't they accept Meekings?
