I think if it was any other club you could say it was a mistake but the SFA and the Ref's do have a history of outright cheating against us you only have to back to 2011 ffs also * off not one mainstream media have pointed out the historic corruption that we have suffered from and are just trying to paint us out as sore losers ( not that I give a * what they think)

As I said above, Commons will probably be dropped for his off day. But you've missed my point; you can see Commons was trying, he just wasn't at it. He's a good player and clearly just had a bad game. If a player has lots of bad games, you'd start to think they were just *. When as many bad decisions go against you as go against us, you have to ask whether it's just bad officiating.

I'm suggesting that the referee knew it was handball and deliberately chose not to give it. When you look at the position of the officials in the replays, and how blatant the offence was, that seems a far more likely explanation than 'he didn't see it'.

The linesman and 5th official have been demoted. Nothing for McLean, the one who made the final decision. He's going to be 4th official at Motherwell at the weekend.

As does the whole 'stop greeting, nothing to see here' thing.

It's amazing that Celtic are being made out to be the bad guys in all of this.

It's really not, it's standard behaviour.

In the cold light of day it really shouldn't be all that surprising that Scottish officials are as inept. The SFA as an organisation is inept, so it's only natural that their match officials should follow suit.

It's been said for decades now, but there really has to be a top down overhaul of the Scottish footballing authorities, including the recruitment process and performance evaluation of everyone who is employed by the organisation, not just officials.

I'd hoped that Lawwell becoming more involved with the actual running of our game would have helped this process along.

Celtic are not being made out to be the bad guys here... the whole world knows the club only sent the letter to appease the slavering rantings of the perma-offended corp.

"The slavering rantings of the perma-offended, paranoid dummy spitters".

Seriously, what Tim actually uses that * against his own? Not as if we don't have good reason for thinking that way.

    Totally agree...

We could take a lot from other sports- rugby, tennis, cricket have all embraced modern technology to take human error or bias out the game.

Inovation is needed in regard to refereeing, it should be a full time well paid job, entering the 'trade/proffession' at young age into a refereeing academy. Ex players/managers should be employed full time to help them understand the game. As well as foreign visits to learn about the overall culture in football.

There is a lot at stake and the officials should be a lot better than they are currently.

No chance the SFA or SPL being leaders in change..

Money needs to be spent and revamp of how the sport is run in this country is needed.

And who was the first ex-ref out defending McClean?

It's funny, the refs have lied to us, admitted to bias against us as above, repeatadly made 'honest mistakes' like McClean (brother of Northern Irish, born in Rutherglen, ex-Rangers player), been fired from the SFA because they've been caught making 'jokes' about the people who mainly make up our demographic (whose son just happened to be part of the team of refs that made those honest mistakes on the weekend)...

The SFA itself has had people fired for purposefully using there position to disadvantage us (Farry) but we're all paranoid.

That's not bringing any speculation into it, about the likes of Campbell Ogilvie and George Peat and any of the other old boys networks that walk the halls of power in Scottish football.

Ooft... the irrational bigotry and desire to be an Uber-Celt is strong in this thread!

Tims with Hun pals... oh, the very thought! Sorry I forgot that you should shun the Hun because ALL Huns are evil and ALL Huns are out to get the decent, honest, humble Celtic man. Grow the * up children.

I * despise the hate-spreading radical wannabes who infect our wonderful club with their bile... they're EXACTLY the same as 'ra peepul' on the other side of town, but they're too * thick to realise it. Dysfunctional brothers in bigotry!

    Oh this should be good.

Who would they be and how does this hate manifest itself?
