Not really tbh. The Islam world has spread its fair amount of hate and is stuck in the 19th century a lot of it

Are you saying Scotland is creating ghettos ??

I will ask you a question, when you go abroad do you obey the laws and try to fall in with the religious beliefs of the country your visiting,or do you force your beliefs on them?? or do you agree people should come here and force their beliefs on us ? which is happening.

A bakery in Southend has upset a number of people in the local community by launching Hot Cross Buns WITHOUT a cross on them – the managing director has said that this ‘difficult decision’ was taken to ensure that nobody in the community gets offended by the cake over the next few weeks.

Many years ago i was in the House Of Shah ( changed hands now) i was up the stairs and was waiting for the lift to take me down.

A guy and a few women were also waiting lift came so i was letting the women go first , guy shakes his head to say no , i say on you go pointing to the lift, he still says no , i still put my hand out for the girls to go first. He then fukin cracks up screaming at me , the girls just stand there doing nothing. A member of staff came out and explained to me what was happeing , they were Muslims and women have to give way to men. I didnt go in the lift just walked down the stairs. This was in my country and i was being a ...... gentleman as my mother had taught me to treat all women with respect.

Not really mate, in * Germany they were against a race of people, not a religious group. It was racism. People born into a Jewish family couldnt opt out of their religion and stay safe.

No its not just semantics. They are completely different. A religion is a belief, which others with different beliefs can find offensive, a race isnt a belief, its what you are, you have no choice.

Killing over beliefs is almost understandable given the brainwashing they go through, killing someone for belonging to a race isnt remotely understandable....to me anyway.

Also, the rhetoric against the muslims now isnt remotely like that spouted about the Jews in the 30s.

Are muslims being beat up in the street all over the country? Are mosques being raised to the ground? Are they required to wear a badge highlighting their religion? Are we planning to round them all up and put them in ghettos?
No....except maybe the odd random attack which has always happened to minorities.

PS. Dont forget, in Germany in the 30s, many Jews were afraid enough and sensible enough to leave, there was definitely something bad in the air........is that the case here? No, nothing like it, they are still queuing up in their millions to get here.

Scary stuff man. The only way to challenge a problem is to accept it's there in the first place, fat chance of that.

I know the difference between a bigot and a racist, both equally vile was my point.

The anti Jewish sentiment at that time wasn't an overnight thing , it was built up slowly over time.

Which is why this anti Muslim rhetoric that is building slowly (and it is growing) is dangerous. So yea were not burning down mosques or sending Muslims to camps.

But you only have to look at the "how to stop ISIS" thread on here a couple of weeks ago to see some people suggesting things like exterminating suspects in secret and burning down mosques to see that the anti muslim sentiment is rising.

Modern day Islam isn't above criticism but we do need to be careful and remember what has happened in the past and not get too worked up on details about wether or not it was a race or religion that was sent to concentration camps to be gassed.

They are out there and there's been plenty of coverage on them too. Just because this programme is unlikely to show those people, doesn't make the opinions of the people on the programme any less valid.

It's easy, a Muslim marriage is just some words the bride and groom repeat to the imam and you are married takes less than 5 mins to be married and seconds to be divorced in Islam. No Muslim is going to admit to marriage as they don't need to go to a registry office so they can easily get away with it as thousands do.
