    Tierney.

Prospects going on loan at an appropriate age for their development rather than as a precursor for being offloaded.

Enjoying Tierney, prospects of Simunovic and Allan looking as if they may be pretty decent and enjoying the enthusiasm of Griffiths. Forrest looking decent when fit and Bitton generally playing well. Been going to games for 30 years so it's engrained to go and I do still enjoy it but if you were new to going to the games I reckon you'd give up pretty quickly sadly

Edit : Prospect of a treble

More Saturday home games than last year is a plus.

But no Griffiths ? * has been unreal for us this season , 19 goals by end of November . By the look of this thread massively under appreciated , which is surprising . Jozo Simunovic getting higher praise for some reason

:smiley-laughing002: Yeah obviously his goals, but more that a large section didn't want the guy here and have been on his case. He's won lots of fans over with his appetite to succeed :50: Still think we need better but you could say that for almost every position. Griffiths has done very well against all odds and genuinely looks as if he enjoys playing for Celtic and works hard to do his best. Any player that does that does that deserves backing

I've enjoyed seeing more Scottish players in the team.

Tierney, i wasn't convinced when i saw him the first 2/3 times but boy he has been a revelation. It tells you something when european teams struggle down his side and get more joy out of Lustig a seasoned international class defender.

His attitude is top notch and refreshing to see from a scottish youngster.

Jozo and Allan was more about early potential that I'm excited about. Griffiths I have enjoyed domestically but I don't think he's good enough for Europe, and therefore to be our main striker.

    Positive stuff only?

I can feel something really special being built here, honestly. I can see it more clearly now than ever, in spite of our European form. Potentially we could be sitting on our best team (in terms of quality) since the MON era in a few years if we can just get hold of that CL money and so hang on to some of these young guys. Just the FB positions alone look like being absolutely stellar (remember Janko's only a year older than Tierney!) in a few years. That for me is really exciting.

    ???

    Janko ??? Jozo Tierney

    Bitton Armstrong
    Forrest Rogic/Christie/Henderson ???
    ???

I'm not saying that's what it'll be in (say) 2017 BTW; it's just an example of the kind of quality we could potentially be looking at if Deila can just sort out the kind of stuff that is being discussed in so many other threads.

Next August is probably the most important month at this club since 1994.

Young Tierney, proving that we've got young talent at the club thats better than the pish we've been buying in from abroad.
Scott Allen, who once he gets a run of games under his belt, will become a tremendous player for the club IMO.
That fact that even though we have one of the poorest Celtic sides of recent times, we're still better than the rest.
    Yip, thats it for me.

Nah, stopping the 10 is less important now than it once was given that we're pretty much on our way to 50iar by the looks of things. :bbpd:

Again, won't seem as important once Deila leads us to CL glory. :50:

In all seriousness, can't a guy indulge in a little harmless hyperbole in this place without being pulled up for it? :54:
