Watching episode 3 now. Not finished it yet but wheres the man in black? 13 mins left so he will probably still show up.

Teddy is already my favourite character. Even though he dies every week!

I wonder who Arnold is? Fords business partner in the past. Ford said he died in the park but i wonder if he is still there. Possibly the man in black?

 

The Man in Black has been in every episode so far. The Human guy going about killing all the hosts saying he want's to reach a deeper level of the game.

Struggling to grasp this to be honest, enjoying watching it but it's so confusing.

 

Episode 4 was pretty poor.

 

Got bored halfway through 3Rd episode. Giving up. Pretty *

 

Watching the 3rd again before I watch the 4th. Really can't get into it, how can you feel emotion for the characters when they're robots and can't die?

I get that some are remembering things from past narratives and obviously something is going to happen but it dragging in with not much making sense.

 

Actually enjoyed episode 4. The Man in Black is cool as *. Not sure if he's a baddy or he's just got his own agenda.

 

Stuck with it till the end ............... of episode 1.
One big Yawn! Thought I was watching Groundhog Day.
It's a "Pass" for me - and I don't mean that in positive sense - just keep on going when you see it in the list!

Halfway through episode 4 and I'm ready for chucking it as well.

I've no really got a clue what's happening and there's no been much action at all.

 

I've liked it.

They need to start revealing a bit more though. All this mystery is going to put people off if they drag it out too much.

 

I love this programme but i have one question. Hope it makes sense.

In episode 4 the man in black helped brake that guy out of the prison but then that guy ended up being back in the town robbing that bank again? Was that a completely different story or is it all happening at the same time? Did he leave the man in black to go rob the bank or is there different time lines and stories going on?

 

* knows mate, in episode 1 or 2 they done the same thing so I don't know if they're just following their narrative. Only this time the black prostitute who's having flashbacks takes him up to the safe and then obviously they've both been shot to * off the sheriff.

Really confusing.

How the * can you give up on a show after one episode? I'd have missed out on a lot of good series if I did that.

I still don't have much of an idea of what's going on story wise, but I kind of like that.

After seeing ep 5 this must be showing different timelines at a time or its flashbacks.

 

It isn't really that hard to grasp. The robots have their own narrative which they follow continuously. The humans we are following are intersecting those narratives at different points, so you are seeing different points of the same story in a non-chronological order (we saw the beginning of Hector's one when he was broken out of jail, then we saw the end of it the second time where he goes ot the town with the blankets over him and steals the safe). Dolores and Maeve are starting to figure out different things about their reality, probably due to code Arnold left in them at an earlier stage of their existence. Dolores especially is the key since she is the oldest robot left out there. Each of the humans who work at the facility have their own motives which are unclear right now. The man in black is looking for something, and is the guy who bailed the project out financially when Arnold died which is why he is allowed to do whatever he wants in there (in one episode one of the workers asked if they should stop him and her superior said that that guy can do what he likes while two other guests recognised him and mentioned something about his foundation saving their sister's life). Anthony Hopkins is up to something too, it just isn't clear yet what it is. It is called a slow reveal and you are not meant to get it until the very end. If done right, everything that has happened previously will make sense. Just like the film Memento.

 

Thought the most recent episode was really good and now feels like it's picking up pace
