Think I'd rather wait till next season to start bleeding him in. Big Kasper deserves the full season, last one to himself before phasing out.

 

Based on the noise from the club I'm still expecting Schmeichel to be number 1 next season.

 

If he does stay, we should definitely be giving Sinisalo the Cup Comps ..

 

If he's showing enough in training then definitely.

 

Aye same here, I want him to still have the jersey. Just on the timing of introducing Sinisalo gradually, definitely would start it next season.

 

Would be starting him against Kilmarnock in the cup and/or Dundee at home.

 

I’d give him a couple of league games rather than risk the cup just because of the huge gap.

 

He’s allegedly very good.

 

Yeah I'd be tempted to start him in both games against Dundee.

 

Aye it's about time we start to give him a chance.

I don't imagine Kasper is gonna be overly bothered by it.
He knows he's in the last year or two of his career and he knows we signed Sinsalo as a long term prospect. Kasper ain't gonna throw the toys out the pram because we give him half a dozen games between now and end of season to see what he's got in a proper match day squad.

Do you think if we were given a game against East Kilbride in a training game, he'd get a game?

 

Kasper Schmeichel won't play. So Viljami Sinisalo will start and go. Kasper had a little issue with his back. So he'll miss out in the game and like I've seen in pre-season with Viljami, he's a young goalkeeper who came in and played those games really well and so I'm really looking forward to seeing him make his debut.

Has Viljami been keeping himself fit whilst sitting on the bench?

Yes. He's a great boy and that's always a challenge, he'd come in here but he's known that having been at Villa and then investing his time playing down in England with Exeter. He knew then coming into here he's got a real top-class goalkeeper to learn from so sometimes you have to invest your time into learning

We took him in, we'd seen him play, obviously represented Finland as well. Very, very talented young goalkeeper has come in, been patient, understands the role at this point so it's really nice for him now to get the opportunity. So I've seen him a pre-season, I've seen him through the season since and yeah, I've got no doubts

 

Looking forward to seeing him make his debut tomorrow..

 

Think he knew the score coming here and Rodgers basically confirming it....come and learn from a top keeper for a year and then mount a challenge.
