Half tongue in cheek but...if he was the one that cost £11 million, I don't think anyone would be saying we wasted our money

Yeah i'm not saying Turnbull wasn't capable, just that he could be passive at times when teams didn't give him the space for a shot or pass whereas I think McCowan takes the initiative and tries to make things to happen.

Overdue I think, should of been called up when he was still at Dundee.

Found acers of space first half yesterday, love the way he's not afraid to get a shot off.

What a signing he's turning out to be, seems to have the perfect mix of the best parts of Turnbull and Christie.

Just out of curiosity, because I seldom watch the wider Scottish game and so outside of the obvious shout of a lad like Lennon Miller is there anymore Scottish talents that could be as useful as him?

Him being captain at Dundee has obviously helped his development as well. That sort of role just brings out a certain confidence in you. Some player. The competition for the middle of the park at the moment is excellent!

Great to see him fitting in to the side and contributing. Proof that there is quality in the league that we can bring in and develop. Great value and every chance he can be a big player for us.

I don’t watch as much of other Scottish teams as many others on here, so a seeing him as a decent player before coming here was about it for me.

After watching his highlights at Dundee I was genuinely blown away, he’s got some amount of talent maturity and moments of genius.

And hes backing it up on the pitch. Excellent stuff

I'd say the best of the starters as well, good on and off the ball and involved the whole game. Running into good positions, linking the play, pressing and defending.
